is a series of pinhole photographs taken with a professionally designed
camera that enables me to work with roll film. The pinhole image is something
that continually reappears in my work. I'm repeatedly drawn back to its
unusual way of depicting the world. Working with the pinhole has come
to be an exercise in humility, a reminder that ours is not the only way
of seeing the world. By placing my camera on the ground and waiting for
the four to twenty second exposure to complete, I'm forced to slow down
and to look more carefully at the world around me. |
